COVID-19 Update

Dear Patients,

We want to assure you that we are taking every precaution necessary to limit the exposure of any virus, including COVID-19, within our dental office, and we ask that you help us by participating in the following precautions:-

Every individual who enters our practice is required to wear a face mask or face covering.

All patients will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire before being admitted to the office. We will take everyone’s temperature upon arrival and ask patients to sign a waiver confirming that they are symptom free. We ask that you reschedule your dental appointment if you have had a recent fever and/or a high temperature (above 100F), or if you have shown any symptoms including, but not limited to; runny nose, cough, difficulty breathing, vomiting, or diarrhea.

To observe social distancing guidelines, only the patient may enter the office (exceptions will be made for children and those who need assistance - but please note parents/guardians or assistants will also require screening). Therefore, we will utilize a "virtual waiting room" to minimize patient to patient contact. Patients will be asked to call or text our office when they arrive for their appointment, but remain in their car until their room is ready."

During this time things may seem very different in our office, just as they are in our regular lives. Our clinical team will wear additional personal protective equipment, as will our Front Desk staff. Protective protocols will continue to evolve as the world learns more about this virus and how to keep everyone safe. Rest assured that we will stay up to date with all new developments, and will implement all recommended protocols designed to keep you safe while here in the office.

We understand that as the coronavirus situation has unfolded, all of us have been faced with questions about how to lead our daily lives and been met with uncertainty and frustration. Please reach out to our office if you have any questions or concerns about anything. We will be a resource for you in any way we can, even if it doesn’t pertain to your dental visit.

We thank you for your cooperation in allowing us to provide you with a safe and clean environment as we continue to prioritize your dental health.

Sincerely,
Dr David Schmidt and Team
